Why God Created Lucifer. Part [11] 05/06/2024 (Evening thought)

1st Corinthians 1:19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. 20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

The third “Pro” of creating intelligent life with the freedom of choice is that, not only would there be tremendous benefit to the universe as a whole, the universe itself would be put on an eternal basis of security through freedom of choice, as opposed to a robotic, preprogrammed stipulation. One of the major flaws with artificial intelligence is that it cannot think, but must adhere to, and build upon that which has been fed into such systems by another intelligence.

And thus, if it were to give us too much trouble, we can always press delete. But with intelligence and freedom of choice we can think freely, rationalize, draw conclusions, and make deliberate decisions to serve, love, and obey God, in ways that would be permanent. More attention is to be focused on the powers of decision and choice, as it pertains to permanence and security.

It is true, that a person’s choice can be so deliberate and well thought out that it can become permanent to the point where it would never ever be reversed. This applies to both good and evil choices, for over a period of millennia, satan’s decisions to do evil have become set in stone, to the point where he cannot do anything else, even if he tried.

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

May God add His blessing to the study of His word. “Good night” and God bless!

Why God Created Lucifer. Part [10] 05/05/2024 (Morning thought)

Hebrews 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spoke in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds.

[Early Writings pp 39] The Lord has given me a view of other worlds ….. and an angel attended me from the city to a place that was bright and glorious. The grass of the place was living green, and the birds there warbled a sweet song. The inhabitants of the place were of all sizes; they were noble, majestic, and lovely.

They bore the express image of Jesus, and their countenances beamed with holy joy, expressive of the freedom and happiness of the place. I asked one of them why they were so much more lovely than those on the earth. The reply was, “We have lived in strict obedience to the commandments of God, and have not fallen by disobedience, like those on the earth.” Then I saw two trees, one looked much like the tree of life in the city.

The fruit of both looked beautiful, but of one they could not eat. They had power to eat of both, but were forbidden to eat of one. Then my attending angel said to me, “None in this place have tasted of the forbidden tree; but if they should eat, they would fall.”

Hebrews 11: 3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

May The Lord add His blessing to the study of His word. God bless!
